On the 4th December, 2017 activists took over a plot of land in Bournemouth, Dorset, England to provide a safe shelter for vulnerable and homeless people who are living on the streets of Bournemouth at Christmas. The local community soon rallied around and provided provisions, tents, sleeping bags, food, medical supplies and a whole lot of love. People from all walks of life became engaged with the community and helped out in any way they could. On the 2nd January, 2018 Bailiffs arrived to execute a warrant to take back the land. This is the story of Camp Sanctuary.
