'English Life' by Andy Scaysbrook for 100 Prints.
We're very proud to announce our Ambassadorship of the British Photography Awards.
The 2017 awards are now open - you have until 30th June to submit your entry.
The British Photography Awards are open to photographers of any level and showcase the best photos taken in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland - you don't have to be British, or live in Britain, to enter.
But, its not just a photo competition. The BPA also work with UK charities to help the communities that support the competition. Chosen for their "operational ethics and real-world effectiveness", the BPA donate half of your entry fee (entry fee: £15) to your choice of a list of UK charities, with the other half going to support the awards themselves including web hosting and server space.
There are 48 regional category awards, 8 national runners-up and 8 grand prizes. For your £15 entry fee, you can submit ten images in one regional category:
|Northern England||Water Life|
|Central England||Land Animals|
|Northern Ireland||Portraits of the People|
"OUR COMPETITION IS DESIGNED TO WELCOME WORK FROM PROFESSIONAL, ENTHUSIASTS AND AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHERS OF ALL AGES, AND TAKEN ON ANY CAMERA."
Closing date for entries: 30th June
Shortlisted entrants hi-res file deadline: 31st July
Winners announced: 3rd August
