100Prints Now Accepts Cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrencies are taking the Art World by storm right now. With NFTs being sold for millions of dollars, and well-known artists like Damien Hirst accepting cryptocurrency payments for his recent works, The Virtues, Bitcoin & other crypto investors finally have places to spend their tokens.

Here at 100Prints, we've always been ones to embrace new technologies and we are now proud to announce that we are accepting the following cryptocurrencies for our Photographers' works:
  • Bitcoin (BTC)
  • Ethereum (ETH)
  • Litecoin (LTC)
  • Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
  • Dai (DAI)
  • USD Coin (USDC)
We're using Coinbase Commerce to process the payments - here's how it works:
Coinbase Commerce is a platform that enables retailers to accept cryptocurrency payments in a fully decentralised way.

  • When you want to pay, Coinbase Commerce will display instructions on how to send funds directly to 100Prints, and monitor the blockchain for your transaction.
  • After a valid payment is detected, Coinbase will notify us so that we can forward your order to the PrintSpace to print and despatch your order.
All payments facilitated by Coinbase Commerce are fully decentralised and peer-to-peer. This means that the cryptocurrency goes directly from your wallet to a wallet that is only accessible by the merchant. At no point in this flow does anyone except the merchant, including Coinbase, have access to these funds.

You can learn more about Coinbase and spending your cryptocurrency here.
