Recently, we had the fantastic news that 100 Prints Contributor, Andy Scaysbrook's portrait of a homeless ex-British soldier, Derek, has been selected for publication in the 2018 Portrait of Britain book, sponsored by the prestigious British Journal of Photography.
Derek was shot as a part of a homeless project entitled, The Shadow Dwellers, which tells the story of the homeless people living on the streets of Bournemouth, UK. Working in collaboration with the charity, Hope For Food, Andy was asked to get involved as they were seeking ways of engaging with the press to raise awareness and recruit volunteers.
The portrait was selected from 13,000 entries to the annual award which is sponsored by The British Journal Of Photography the worlds oldest photographic journal.
We are delighted to announce this print is now for sale on 100Prints. Print only, A4 and only £25 all profits from the sale of this print will go directly to Derek via the lovely people at Hope For Food.
What a brilliant way to start your very own Photography Collection and help a homeless ex-British soldier in the process.
